EARLY EN-D OF SEASON.

(From Our Own correspondent.)

HAMILTON, this day. "r The opinion that little >butt*i€at would bei?pjroduced i* May, in the Waikato was ■expressed this" '-morning -by Sir. -C. '*«H ,Parlane, general manager of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd. He said that the end of i>lay was usually regarded as a terminating point for the normal season, but it wag clear that this season would end much earlier.

Light frosts in the Waikato in the last few days would act as a further cheek to dairy production, and have dashed the ■hopes of farmers for a good autumn growth. Supplies of supplementary fodder will be short bins winter as feeding out has already begun on some farms.
