BURGLARY AT GARAGE.

THIEVES LEAVE CHEQUES.

LEVIN, this day.

Late last night or early this morning, Wright, Stephenson and Company's garage was broken into, and about £140, representing the holiday petrol takings, was stolen.

After obtaining crowbars and a drill from the workshop, the thieves forced tfce heavy iron doors of the strongroom open, and then the door of the safe within. Cheques and postal notes were left untouched.
