SYDNEY'S ROYAL SHOW.
NEW ZEALAND AWARDS. SYDNEY, April 4. Soaking rain has so far marred Sydney's Eoyal Show, which opened last Saturday, and it interfered with the judging of the cattle yesterday and the judging of the horses to-day. New Zealand-bred Clydesdale stallions again showed to advantage in the Clydesdale sections. Mr. E. Hodge's New Zealand-bred Clydesdale Norwood won the four chief awards, defeating the imported Scottish horse Silver Lining and also gaining the Kilpatrick Cup for the best Australian or New Zealand-bred stallion or colt. An interesting feature of the thoroughbred competition was that the £19.000 liorse Talking gained only a third prize of £5, the winner being the Victoria Racing Club Derby winner Hua, with Break-up second.
