ACCOUNTANTS' SOCIETY.
PROGRESS IN HAMILTON. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. A satisfactory year was reviewed at the annual meeting of the South Auckland Branch of the New Zealand Society of Accountants last evening. The membership, it was stated, was 128, an increase on the previous year. The annual students' prize was presented to Mr. H. T. Gilling, 'and the certificate of membership to Mr. T. L. Giek. Officers were elected as follows:—* Chairman, Mr. W. Fraser; committee, Messrs. C. W. Armstrong, G. H. Bindon, T. L. Cartwright, T. G. Reynolds, £. V. Keisterer, T. J. Ryan and YV. A. Smith; auditor, Mr. L. Champion.
