EL MEYNELL RESUMES.
The Hunting Song gelding El Meynell rejoined the track workers at Ellerslie during the week. He looks a bit in the rough" at present, but is in nice order to undergo a further preparation. In six starts last season El Meynell registered two wins and one second placing, and he also ran second in a mile event at the Pakuranga meeting last August.
GOING ON THE RIGHT WAY.
A novice that ie making good progress at Ellershe is British Talent, a member of A. Kemp's stahie. So far he has not been tested beyond three furlongs, but he has shown sufficient speed over to indicate that he will eventually develop into a smart galloper.
