SPEEDWAY RACING.
FINAL NIGHT TO-NIGHT,
INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION,
To-niglit will decide the supremacy of tiie international midget car teams which during the past few weeks have been racing at Western Springs Stadium. It is the anal night of the Auckland season, and cars and drivers are keyed up to a high Pitch of competitive racing power. The result should be the most exciting speedway contests yet presented in Auckland, it will be the climax of a season which has held many thrilling races and which nas drawn huge crowds to the stadium night after night. Midget car drivers and motor cycle broadsiders have established high standards of skill and daring, and records have been smashed. To-night, it is expected, further records will fall. Bill Reynolds, the English midget car champion and Jiolder of the stadium refor the mile, will again foe in action and' so will .the American champions, "Swede" Lindskog, Roy Richter and others, while the Australians and New Zealanders will be giving of their best in the effort to win further laurels for their countries. Finals of the Butcher Cup and the Urquliart Cup will be decided, and there will be international match races between England and America, and Australia and New Zealand. In addition, there will be a good programme of motor cycle broadeiding and novelty events. "
