N.Z. CADETS SELECTED.
TRAINING AT DUNTROON.

WELLINGTON, Friday.
Five Xew Zealand cadets have been selected to attend a three years' course at the Royal Military College, Duntroon, Australia, with a view to qualifying officers in tho New Zealand military forces. In announcing the names in an interview this evening, the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, said they were being sent hi accordance with the Government's policy of close co-operation with Australia in defence matters.
The cadets selected are":—F. B. Chennells, Christchurcli, who attended Christ's College; J. B. McGregor, Dunedin Otago Boys' High School and Kings High School; J. A. McPherson, Dunedin, Otago Boys' High School; B. F. Sceats, Gisborne, Maris t Brothers' School and Gisborne High School; and R. J. H. Webb, Nelson College.
