CHANCE FOR BOYS.
TOURING STAGE PARTY.
An opportunity to see the world may fall the way of talented New Zealand boys during the next few weeks, according to Air. K. J!. Alarie, manager of the Voting Australian How' Revue and Band, who arrived in the Mariposa to-day to make final arrangement* for the company's season in Auckland.
'Our ultimate aim," said Afr. Alarie, "is to develop a troupe drawn from every part of the Empire, with a ( view to presenting performances in every corner of the globe, and particularly in the countries comprising the Empire itself. We are 011 the lookout all the time to discover new talent, and we will gladly give auditions to New Zealand boys who are gifted musically or as entertainers, with a view to adding them to our party. "Our next step will be to Canada, and then to the British Isles and South Africa. fjo young New Zealanders are invited to show us what they can do, and there is an opportunity for them to see the world." Air. Marie said the "Young Australians' presented a unique performance, which combined youthful freshness with a polished professional style. They had achieved one of their biggest successes in South Africa, playing 7S consecutive performances in Johannesburg. They would arrive in the Awatea next Monday. Mr. Alarie, incidentally, has. travelled 2.30,000 miles in major journeys in the past ten years. He has been five times to the United States and Canada, three times to Europe, and twice each to South Africa, lthodesia, Alexico and India. He intends to travel throughout New Zealand.
