ACCIDENT AT A. AND P. SHOW.
GIRL CLAIMS £1211 DAMAGES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) 1 XEW PLYMOUTH, this day. A writ lias beer, issued oil behalf of Miss Edna Hay, of New Plymouth, claiming £1211 damages from the- Taranaki A. and P. Society for injuries received when shot in the bade by a -bullet from a shooting gallery on fc'lio evening of June 9, at t'lie 1937 Winter Show. Jliss Hay was incapacitated from work from, the date of the accident until February of last year. On tlio evening of the accident, Miss Hay, who was then aged 18, received a shot in the back when moving along a side-show alley. The bullet passed through a box filled with earth and reinforced wit'h metal plates.
