NEW SCENIC ASPECT.

FLOODLIT WATERFALLS. BLUE MOUNTAINS ATTRACTION. SYDNEY. The system of floodlighting of waterfalls. cascades and points of interest instituted by the Katoomba Municipal Council has proved a remarkable success and one of the best advertising mediums yet instituted for the Blue Mountains. The falls, cascades, rocky gorges and fern glens are revealed in an entirely new scenic aspect. The effect is more one of indirect lighting and shade than of the glare usually associated with floodlighting. The light transforms these scenic gems into a veritable fairyland, which has given, pleasure to countless thousands.

The areas under the beams of electricity are Leura Creek and Cascades and the Orphan Rock. All are easily accessible by motor and there is ample parking space for cars. Tracks have been carefully constructed to obviate the possibility of mishap.
