WILD CHASE IN CITY.

TWO MEN nmiaOMED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Two men concerned in (he conversion of a car in the Hutt Valley and who were the principals in a chase by a police car at 70 miles an hour through city streets on January 17, were dealt with by Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., today. . The magistrate did not differentiate between them as to who was the driver and who was the passenger, and imposed sentences of six months', hard labour. He said obviously only one could drive at the one time. The men were Harold Beggs,, aged 34, and Conrad Thomas Neiling. aged 20, both labourers.
