MURDER CHARGE.
MAN BEFORE COURT. ALLEGED DOUBLE KILLING. THE URUWHENUA TRAGEDY. (By Telegraph.—Fress Association.) NELSON, this day. After several' adjournments, the hearing of a double murder charge against Arthur Frederick Kerr, aged 55 years, commenced in the Magistrate's Court this morning before Mr. T. E. Maunsell S.M. Kerr was charged "That on December 1(5, at Lruwhenua, he did murder Laura May Kerr, his wife, and on the same date did murder his son, Roy Robert Kerr. Mr. C. R. Fell was in charge of the prosecution and Mr. W. V. Rout represented accused. Nine witnesses are to be called. Accused was permitted to be seated in tlie dock.
