Seccombe won the silver spoon for the best score off the gun with 24 breaks, while the spoon for the best score with handicap was won by F. J. Hasard with 21, 4—25, The next highest returns were:—R. W. Colebrook, 19, 5—24 ; A. L. Byrne, 22, scr--22; R. G. White, 21, 1—22; A. E. Robinson, 21, scr—2i ; A. Woodrotfe, 20, 1—21; A. Sommervilie, 12, 8—20; T. H. Steel, 12, 8 —20; 8. Members of the Clevedon Defence Rifle Club concluded the contest for Its No. 4 trophy, with the targets at 500 yards and 600 yards ranges, tyarfcsmen had to contend with a changing light and a strong crosswind, freshening at times. A fine effort by the club captain, H. H. Muiyro, resulted in his Winning four more points and annexing the trophy. The silver spoon ' was won by J. Bonaslch.
