14-FOOT CHAMPION.
WELLINGTON TAKES HONOURS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Monday. Maintaining the good form she has shown throughout the Sanders Cup contest, the Wellington boat Vanguard won the New Zealand championship open to all 14-footers in a keen contest on tihe Bluff Harbour. The Stewart Island boat, Darin a, gave an excellent performance to take second place. In addition to the Sanders Cup competition three Southland boats, Irene, Rawena and Rosita, took part. The order of the boats and their times at the finish were: Vanguard (Wellington), 2h 10m 2s; Lavina (Stewart Island), 2h 11m Bs} Lynette (Otago), 2h 12m 475; Huia (Canterbury), 2h 14m 425; Irene (Southland), 2h 16m 12s; Rawene (Southland), 2h 17m 355; Marjorie (Auckland), 2h 18m 15s.
