ROXY—TIVOLI. How a young rancher rehabilitates himself in his 'home after serving a term of imprisonment form the theme of R.K.O. Radio's latest Western, "Lawless Valley," which opens to-anonow at the Roxy and T-ivoli theatres. Husky George O Brien plays the 1 wft of the young fe*!low who. through a ui'i»:-arriage of justice. is sent to the penitentiary for aiding his father in holding up a sta«e coach. Both men were innocent of the crime, but they were framed by a crooked cattleman and a dishonest sheriff, wiho also murdered the father and corrupted the jury into calling it suicide. When tthe young rancher is released on parole, he and a c-ouiple of friends conduct a secret investigation in fwee of the hostility of the citizens of their town. The story goes on to tell in thrilling fashion how they finally manage to obtain enough evidence ,to pin the crimes <>n_ the crooked ranciher and the sheriff. Kaiy Sutton has tlie leading supporting role, anil others in the cast are Walter Mil'ler, Fre<l Kohler. senior and junior, and Lew Kelly. Buck Jones is the star of the associate feature. "Outlawed Guns." in which Ruth Channing has the feminine lead.
