A few scattered showers are probable, but the weather Will be mainly fair. Temperatures moderate. Beas slight on the eaat coaat, moderate on the > weat coaat. 1 A weak depreasion ia crossing the Dominion. The tropical cyclone is now centred near Chatham laland, but 1 ia having little effect on New Zealand. i HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. ' The following report of weather conditiona in the Hauraki Gulf waa received from Tiritiri laland at noon to-day:— ' Wind, north-weat, light; sea, 5 smooth; weather, overcast; visibility, fair; barometer, riaing.
