MAYOR AND COUNCILLORS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Tlie> Mayor and members of the Ohrtetrhiirch C'itv Council will in future have insurance protection while they are attending to civic duties. The council to-night adopted the finance committee's proposal that insurance should be taken out. The policy will provide for payment of £1000 for death by accident or permanent total disablement by accident. For permanent partial disablement £500 will be paid. There will also be other allowances.
