EXPERIMENTAL FARM. (From Oar Correspondent.! DARGA VILLE, Tuesday. The suggestion that the Centennial year would be a fitting one for the establishment in North Auckland of an experimental farm to cover all phases of fanning and live stoek was made to the Dargaville Borough Council at its monthly meeting by the North Auckland r Pig Council, which pointed out that it I had decided to proceed with preliminary | work and asked interested local bodies i to appoint one delegate to attend a [ meeting. The Mayor, Mr. R. Gibson, said he understood the Northern Wairoa experimental farm at Mangarata was the only one in North Auckland at present. The proposed farm cduld probably be worked in conjunction with It.
