HINT TO MILKMAN.
"FRONT DOOR" DELIVERY. STATE TENANT'S METHOD. The reception given a milk-vendor who made a "front door delivery" of milk to a State house tenant by placing it in the goods box in front of the house was mentioned by Mr. R. B. Stonex at to-days meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council when "front door delivery" possibilities were being discussed.
"Next (lav lie found a note in the box which said. 'Take it around and put it 011 the back step, you lazy — said Mr. Stonex.
Members of the council had a laugh, and Mr. C. J. Lovegrove said, "I wonder if he was a typical State tenant!"
