FOUND DEAD.
EPSOM DISCOVERY.
MISSING SINCE FRIDAY.
Mil-sing from his home in Edwin Street. Newton, since Friday last, a married man. Mr. Harry Mel-eod, aged 52, was found dead on the footpath near the Auckland Infirmary about nine o'clock last nisrht.
The discovery was made by a nurse, who immediately summoned a doctor. However, examination showed that life was extinct. There were no marks of violence on the body.
An inquest was opened this moraine by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, whS directed that a post-mortem examination should be made to disclose the cause of death. After evidence of identification had been heard the inquirv was adjourned.
