COSMOPOLITANS.
ENJOYABLE DANCE.
Those attending the Cosmopolitans' dance at the Zealandia Hall, Balmoral, were once again treated to a night of gaiety and revelry. Excellent dance musio was supplied by Ivy Dye, Sel Paterson and Sax Walters, and, with Mrs. Nicholls as hostess and Bill Hogg as master of ceremonies, things swung along merrily to a fitting climax, when prolonged encores were showered upon the musicians. Novelty priees and dances during the evening were won by Mr. S. Spooner and Mies J. Hopkings, Mr. C. Everson and Miss D. Everson, Mr. P. Jackson and Miss V. Martin. Mr. R. Gear and Miss E. Pearce, and Mr. S. Walters and Miss E. Thome. Among the ladies present were:— Mesdames W. Hogg, D. Goldfinch, E. Simpson, J. Alexander and M. Watts; and Misses Ivy Brooks, Bell Webb, Joan Anderson, Rene Simpson, Joy Phillips, Myra Strongman, O. Cranston, E. Martin. J. Howse, M. Howse, E. Adams, R. Endean, V. Walsh, T. Kerr, T. Leaning and M. Francis.
