JUNIOR BRANCH CONCERT.
An excellent musical programme was presented by the Junior Branch of the Society of Musicians at the Overseas League Rooms last night. The president, Mr. Varley Hudson, welcomed a large gathering of guests. A bouquet was presented to the organiser, Mrs. Boult, from the members, as a recognition of her interest in the society and her services as accompanist.Piano solos alternated with violin item* and songs, the following taking part in the programme: —Helen Davideon, Mary Bedford, Cherry Middlemiss, Yvone Gillman, Virienne Burrell, Beverly Lloyd, Shirley Gillman, Betty Ashford, Peggy Laricman, Betty Taylor, Joan Kassiscks, Peggy Sheath, Doris Capper, Alberta Coleman, Margaret ; Broadwood, Patricia, Hebden, Joyce i Fountain, Elva. Hipwell, Molly Hicks. Cicely Kirkin, Valerie Shirley, Jacqueline Page, Betty Rotherham, Kathleen Brown, Betty Chambers, Elaine Fowler, Margaret McGregor, Pat Hildon, Ken Hildon.
