BRIGHT EXHIBITION. ; OTAHUHU HIGH SCHOOL. i KEEN INTEREST IN NATURE. I Tlie sixth annual flower show in connection with tlie Otahuhu Technical High ; School took place to-<la.v in the school • j buildings. As on previous occasions the ' j display of flowers and vegetables is well ' i tip to standard, a total of 630 entries being .'received. "The popularity of tlrc-sc shows 1 is ample evidence that the people, as a , j whole, are appreciating lovely things, > j and find real joy in Nature," he said. j I He impressed upon the children to 1 1 make their gardens playgrounds and 1 pleasure grounds. Mr. Petrie took the j j ! opportunity of congratulating all the exhibitors on the result of their labours, which, he said, had reached a high degree of excellence.
