SIZE OF SACKS.
"Interested" writes complaining about the size of sacks used in this Dominion. In my | opinion his contention that the sacks are too j large is quite correct, and undoubtedly produce, j especially potatoes, packed in these -acks mu=t ; deteriorate to some extent before reaching-the ; retailer. It is indeed time the cudgels were taken up to have tlii~ out of-date mefhf>d of Ijutcking :iOt)]b of grain, coal or anvthing else into a sack altered and the use of a smaller bag instituted. Such an alt-oration nur-e made effective would, T am sure, be more beneficial | than otherwise. I trust the authorities will I not overlook this matter. C.W.C.
