OSTEND WHARF.

I -wonder how long it is poing to take for the controllers of Ostend wharf to wake up to the dangers that exist to the u-ers of the wharf from tlio crowding at. the end of the wharf at, boat time. Wo have had to suffer for years from a relation of the condition that existed last Monday wlu'ti one man fell over between the ship and wharf, and women were fainting and children with their mothers going into hysteric* through fear of heinjr pushed overboard, and through being jammed against the gangway, so that at tinier it was impossible to use it. I wonder if we have to wait for a serious accident to wake us up to the necessity for some improvement. protect our animals; what about our humans? SUFFERER.
