HAMILTON CLUB'S REPORT. (From Our Correspondent.) HAMILTON. Wednesdav. "The 103"-.'?S fi>hing season in the Hamilton district was not. as good as in previous years,"' said Mr. W. E. Nicholson. president of the Hamilton Acclimatisation Club, at the annual meeting last evening He stated that adverse weather militated against good results, while many anglers had been attracted by the phenomenal sport offering at Rotorua. Fish taken from local waters had Im-oii well up to standard in weight and condition. The large number of small fish seen augured well for the future. Pheasant shooting had been greatly improved owing to the extended liberation policy of the Auckland society. Duck and quail shooting had not been as good as usual. A healthy position was disclosed by the balance-sheet. The election of officers resulted: — Patron, Mr. A. E. Missen; president. Mr. W. McCJill; committee, Messrs. R. Roberts, W. McCready, F. Harper, H. Absolum. G. Wallace, W. Jones. W. Brinkworth, W. E. Nicholson, J. Goodall and J. Mollov; secretary-treasurer. Mr. A. A. McLean. Mr. D. D. Wilson offered a trophy to the member weighing in the heaviest pheasant during the next shooting season, while Mr. .7. Pobson offered a trophy to the nieml>er furnishing the best return of data relative to the shooting season.
