ST. PETER'S OLD BOYS.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS.
The sixteenth annual reunion of the St. Peter's Old Boys' Association was held in the Church Hall, Arch Hill, when the president. Mr. A. D. Campbell, presided over 50 members.
The Rev. M. A. Gow. minister of the Grey Lynn (St. Peter's)-Richinond (St. Mungo's) charge, who had preached at a church parade of the members last Sunday evening, was re-elected patron. Mr. P. K. Xeae, senior vice-preeident and president-elect, wag then formally installed ae president, and Mr. G. F, Underwood wa*, elected second vice-president in place of Mr. N. P. Brinsden, who succeeded Mr. Ness. Messrs. N. C. Bannatyne and C. A. Little were re-elected secretary and treasurer respectively.
The following were elected to the committee, with the past president ex officio: Messrs. D. B. Bannatyne, W. A. Campbell, J. S. Doull, W. M. Hibburt, E. E. Hill, Harry Jenkin, Geo. Kerr, J. R. Knight, A. H. Mennie and H. H. Wilson.
After items had been (riven the following toasts were honoured: "Past Presidents," proposed by the president and responded to by Mr. J. A. Carr. the Rev. Thoe. Haliiday and Mr. Campbell: "The Bible Class Movement," propesed by Mr. R. A. Ramsay and replied to by Mr. An?ns Sutherland. Presbyterian district chairman, and Mr. W. McSkiniminp. St. Potpr's present young men's leader: "The Church." proposed by Mr. J. S. Doull, and responded to by an address by Mr. Gow on the part played by Christian men in th<> present world situation.
Honour was paid to pioneers and to members who had died during the year.
