LADY WARWICK'S ROMANCE. BOTH "DELIRIOUSLY HAPPY." (Special.—By Air Mall.) LONDON*, September 7. Not until an hour after the wedding did Lady Rosabella Brand know that her daughter. Lady Warwick, was to marry Mr. William Fiske, American winter eports expert.
They were married by special lieenee at Maidenhead Register Office—and then went into hiding. Lady Warwick— formerly Mis* Rose Bingham, one of the most beautiful debutantes of 1931—had •pent the night with friends at Windsor. Telephone CalL "The first news I had of the wedding was a telephone call from my daughter juet before ten this morning," Lady Rosabella Brand said at her home at Glynde, near Lewes. "They both told me that they were deliriously happy.
"I returned only laet night from Scotland. The last I had heard from my daughter she was in the south of France. I knew ehe intended marrying, but had no idea of the date. "I don't blame her for not telling me till after the event; she wanted as few people a« possible to know about it and she was afraid I might let it out. Honeymoon in U.S. "Mr. Fiske is too busy in London just yet for a honeymoon. I cannot say where they are at the moment. They told me nothing except they were going to the United States next month, where my son-in-law has some business to attend to."
Lady Warwick is the 25-year-old grandaughter of the Earl of Roaslyn, and her 27-year-old bridegroom is the. London representative of Messrs Dillon. Read and Co., investment bankers, of Austin Friars, E.C.
It was a ski-ing romance, as they met in Switzerland two and a half years ago. Since then they have won several toboggan races together. The bride described herself as Rose Warwick, formerly Bingham, former wife of Charles Guy Fulke Greville, Earl of Warwick.
Lady Warwick's first marriage was in lf>33. It was dissolved last February. Lord Warwick is row acting on the lilms in Hollywood inder the namj of Michael Brooke.
There is a four-year-old son and heir, Lord Brooke, now in the care of Sir Adrian and the Hon. Lady Baillie, old friends of Lord Warwick's father, at Leeds Castle, Maidstone.
