CHEERIO CLUB.

The speaker for the Cheerio Club's last meetiiip was Mrs. Bevan, who gave an intercstiiipr talk on "Social Security." The president. Mrs. Munn, thanked the speaker, and the members expressed their appreciation by acclamation. Mre. Attfonl pave the thought for the week. The usual fortnightly social was also held. Mesdanies Sanderson and Hill were in eharpe of the proceedings and a moet enjoyable programme was carried out. Items were ginn by Mr. and Mrs. Woolley (duets), Mr. Hewson and Mrs. Rawley (humorous song), Miss Olive Rawley (tap-dancing). Mesdamee Forrest and Buckley were the pianists. Competition winners were Mesdames Reading and Woolley.
