OLD-TIME DANCE.
TAKAPUNA BAND. Despite a heavy storm the Takapiina Citizens' Band social committee's popular weekly old-time dance was meet •successful. Dance melodiee were rendered by the band's own orchestra, with the usual accordion extras. The third eeries of 20/ in value Monte Carlo prize waltz was won by Mr. P. White and Mise Peggy Sanders. A special prize will be given to the dancer who wins the greatest number of Monte Carlo prizes during the next two months. Supper was served by the ladies' social committee.
