Lyon. the member for tho electorate, iiad received a summons to speak at a mooting of the party at Dmiedin. an honour which members and friends present fully appreciated.

Dougherty - . TAMAKI BRANCH. - Balloons and streamers of red and gold added to the animation and life of a jolly gathering in the Parish Hall at St. Hefier's. Over 2()0 young people connected with the Tamaki branch of the Xew Zealand Labour party took part in the dancing. Mrs. Mary Drcaver, the guest of honour, was presented with a bouqnet of spring flowers by little Pat Matthews.
