GLEN EDEN BRANCH.
A meeting of the women's division of the Glen Eden branch of the Labour party was held in the Anglican Hall. Mies C'olebrook was the speaker, her subject being of great interest to women. Mrs. Willetts presided. A report from the Suburbs advisory committee was presented by Mrs. Browning. Donations amounting to £3 17/0 were received. A card afternoon was also held at Mrs. Butterfleld's residence, when prizes were donated by Mesdames Alp, Butterfield. Briggs and Roper. Afternoon tea. was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Tomlin, Bartrum and Mellor.
