WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE.
The Government Meteorologist Issued to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Tauranca and Kawhia:— Moderate north-westerly to westerly winds. A few isolated showers probable-, but weather mostly fair to fine. Cool night, but mild day temperatures. Seas moderate on the west coast, slight on the east coast. Pressure is still high across the north Tasman Sea and northern New Zealand. A shallow westerly depression is passing in the south, but pressure is now rising there also. HAURAKI QULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Oulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-west, light; sea, smooth; weather, cloudy, with passing showers; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
