- SYDNEY, September 18. One of Sydney's best racing mares, Hamurah, fractured her skull when she crashed into a fence following a severe fright during a gale. Every effort is being »■«• to save her. Last season Hamurah won the Doomben Newmarket Handicap ?*u"? DoncMter Handicap, and is one of the topweights for the Epsom Handicap next month.
