PRAYER FOR PEACE.
In response to the request by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Cosmo Gordon Lang, that to-morrow be observed as a day of national prayer for peace, a special service of intercession for peace will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral at 11 o'clock in the morning.
