MOUNT KPEN CLUB.
The report of the Mount Eden Swimmiug Club to be presented at the annual meeting on Wednesday night next emphasises the performances of the relay teams. J. lie financial statement shows the club to be in a sound position, with a credit balance of £83. Ihe club was represented at the >eiv Zealand championships by 1 eter Hanan and R. Frankham, the former \vinmng the 100 yards and 220 yards' titles, while Frankham was third in the 100 yards. Hanan had gone to Sydney with the Empire Games' team, and performed well in the 110 yarda event, in which he was a finalist.
Mention is made of the increase in club membership, which last season totalled 383, as against 161 the previous seasQß. m This committee records with rejrret the death of Messrs. C. Frankham and T H Martyn, both of whom had given valuable support to the club for many years.
