The Australian 'women's tennis team played its second international match on Sunday when at Easthampton, Long Island, the visitors were defeated by the American team by four rubbers to two, but won on sets, 15—14. On Saturday the Australian girls beat the Americans at Southhampton by four rubbers to two. Results:— Southhampton. Singles.—Alias N. Wynne (Australia) beat Mrs. S. P. Fabyan (America), 7—5, 6—2; Miss D. Stevenson (Australia) beat Miss D. Bundy (America), 6—4, 3—6, 6—2; Miss T. Coyne (Australia) beat Miss H. Jacobs (America), 6—2, 6—2; Miss D. Workman (America) beat Mrs. H. O. Hopman (Australia), 4 —6, 6—4, B—6.8 —6. Doubles.—Misses T. Coyne and N. Wynne (Australia) beat Miss H. Jacobs and Mrs. S. P. Fabyan (America), 6—3, 6—4; Mieses D.
