TRIPLE COLLISION.
TWO CARS DAMAGED.
Torn an* twieted almost beyond repair, ft light.saloon car was the principal sufferer in a triple collision which occurred tin Saturday evening on the Great "South Road near the boundary of. the Papakura Borough and Franklin Cofnty. No one was seriously injured, but all concerned experienced miraculous escapes. / IA. bus operated by Gibeon'e Motors, Limited, and carrying some 10 passengers came into .collision with two stationary and unoccupied motor cars, Tata off the steep camber of the road and plunged down a Bft bank to com© to) rest parallel with the front hedge of> a house.' The bus had to be towed "back to the road and tfce passengers transferred to a relieving bus. Two of the passengers in the one, which was bound from New Plymouth to Auckland, Buffered minor facial abrasions and cute, while the others escaped with a ehaking. A St. John ambulance drfven by Mr. H. Ryan, and returning from a trip south, made a timely appearance, being practically the next vehicle on the scene. One of the cars was wrecked, and the other wae moved several feet. The front part of the bt» was extensively buckled. It was considered extremely fortunate that it did not capsize as it ran off the road.
