LOAN OF £50,000.
TAUBAXOA POWER BOARD.

TAURANGA, Saturday.
At a special meeting of tne Tauranm Electric Power Board advice was received from the Local Government Loans Board that the board's application for a loan of £50,000 had been sanctioned. The period of the loan was fixed at 20 years and the rate of interest at 3} per cent.
The loan is to be raised by special order and a resolution to that effect wa* adopted unanimously. It will be submitted for confirmation at the next meeting of the board.
