TREBLE TRADE.
THREE-COUNTRY TREATY. LONDON, September 1. The barter agreement signed on July 5 between Italy, Japan and Manchukuo will treble the total mutual trade as compared with 1937, says the Rome correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph." Japan and Mancliuku# will take Italian exports, including woollen textiles and felt hats, to the extent of £1,500,000 annually. Italy will reciprocate by imports, including soya beans and egg yolks. She will also receive "most favoured nation" treatment in public works.
