WILL INTERPRETATION.

ACTION BY PUBLIC TRUSTEE. Reserved judgment in a will interpretation case, in the matter of the estate of the late Mary Elizabeth Parkinson, of Pukekohe, was given by Mr. Justice Callan in the Supreme Court yesterday. Interpretation was sought by argument on originating summons between Mr. Mahony for the four children of the late Mrs. Parkinson and by Mr. Leary for the Public Trustee to establish whether the plaintiffs, by virtue of the provisons of the will, became entitled upon the death of their mother to indefeasibly vested equal shares in the remainder of her estate. His Honor said that there were conflicting clauses in the will, but he found that the plaintiffs were entitled to shares as stated. He added that the Public Trustee had acted properly in seeking an interpretation from the Court, and ordered that costs be paid out of the I estate.
