WIFE'S DISCOVERY.
DEATH OF HUSBAND. VERDICT OF COROXER. A verdict that death was due to coronary thrombosis and cardiac infraction was by the city coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., yesterday, at the inquest held into the death of Reginald George Woodcock, who died at his home, 128, Peary Road, on August 24. Mr. Woodcock was a married man and a labourer by occupation. Evidence was given by his widow that her husband went to" work as usual on August 23, and returned home about 5.30 p.m. He retired to bed about 10 p.m., being apparently in good health. At six o'clock next morning, when his wife Bpoke to him, he did hot answer, and she noticed he was ill. Dr. Dreadon was sent for, but when he arrived Mr. I Woodcock was dead.
Evidence was supplied by Dr. Edgar Francis Fowler, pathologist at the Auckland Hospital, who madeta post-mortem examination. There were no signs of violence, and the cause of death wag as returned in the coronw's verdict.
