CUP DAY AT REMUERA.
UNITED TO MEET ST. LUKE'S. AUCKLAND VERSUS THE REST. Although the hockey" season is drawing to a close, considerable interest is being maintained in the game and the programme at Remuera should provide some spectacular and thrilling hockey. United, winner of the championship, will play St. Luke's, holder of the Devonport Shield, and with both sides at full strength a keen contest should result. The trophy at stake will be the Kent Cup and with it goes the unofficial title of "champion of champions." The match will be played on No. 1 ground at 1.40 p.m. Two other senior matches will be played at the same time. University engages Mount Eden on No. 2 ground, while Grammar Old Boys and Somerville meet on No. 3 ground. The big game at 3 p.m. will be between the Auckland representatives and a team selected from the Rest in the annual match for the Selectors' Cup. The representatives will field practically the same team as that which defeated the Manavadar Indians (5—4) and on paper the team to represent the Rest is a formidable combination which should put lip a fine showing in reasonable conditions. -The teams are:— Auckland: M.
