RUGBY BALL.

NORTHCOTE FUNCTION. MANY GUESTS ATTEND. The annual ball of the Northcote l and Birkenhead Rugby Football Club was held last night in the Kings Theatre at Northcote, and proved a most enjoyable function. The president, Mr. J. W. Lethbridge, who welcomed the gathering, was assisted as hostess by Mrs. Norman Davidson, wearing a frock of black crepe and silver coatee. The hall was brightly decorated, and the supper tables were laid out in a maroon and gold scheme, the colours of the club, with vases of Iceland poripies. * 1
