Quarterly meetings of the Licensing Committee to have been' held • in Auckland will not be necessary, ae there is no business to be dealt with. The districts in question are City of Auckland, Pnrnell, Hauraki and Waitemata. Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., ia the chairman. The Parnell meeting was to have been held to-day, the Waitemata to-morrow, the Hauraki on Monday next, and the City of Auckland on Wednesday.
