AGREEMENT REACHED. CLASSES OF ENGINE-DRIVERS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Conciliation Council hearing of the- engine-drivers' dispute agreed that the award should apply to the following classes of workers-r-engine-drivers with first and second-class certificates, drivers of steam locomotives -and traction engines, firemen, greasers, trimmers, guards and/or locomotive firemen, locomotive cleaners, steam-roller drivers, and/or steam grader drivers, oil burner attendants operating a two or more jet burner, enamelling or paint baking oven workers substantially employed to attend, regulate, or control electric motors, and/or stationary internal combustion engines.

The question of the applicability of the award to engine operators in mines, is to be referred to Arbitration Court.
