OLD-TIME RECOLLECTIONS.

I I recollect the snow that fell in Auckland in IS94—it was the first I had ever seen. I | wonder if your correspondent 'Mac" recollects I the first loud-speaking gramophone concert which was held in the old Theatre Rival at the corner of Queen and Victoria .Street?. Sir George Grey spoke into it a message to tha people, and the record was supposed to be retained in the Art Oallery for 50 vear» before being reproduced. I wonder if we will ever hear it asain.
