LONDON WEATHER.
CORRIGAN LIKES IT.
"GOOD AS CALIFORNIA'S."
LONDON, July 30.
England's much maligned weather received a pat on the back this week from Douglas Corrigan, tha young American who flew the Atlantic "by mistake." >
"London weather is just as good as Southern California's at its best," he said. "It's funny—they told nie the weather was always rotten in England." Corrigan was favourably impressed with London. "I sure like that Regent Street," he said. "We've got nothing like that in the United States. You've got a lot of. modern buildings here, too, and that's funny, because I thought London was just full of old historic buildings.. '. < » swell idea no* building buildings; It gives the ran i chance to get through.-to the street and gives the people » fbanoe to get some fresh air."
