SEVENTY FEET DROP. MAN'S BACK BROKEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAUMARUNUT, this day. A car driven by Joseph Dov man, aped 16, at Piopiotea West yesterday feil down a 70ft bank. Passengers in the car were Dowman s mother and Mr. Harry Pattinson. Mrs. Dowman escaped with bruises, cuts and shook but .Mr. Pattinson was throw-, out of the car, which passed over him, breaking his back.
