Concussion and shock were suffered by Mr. Douglas Victor Munns (24), married, when he was struck by a girder and knocked against the jib of a crane while at work yesterday. His condition to-day is not serious. The condition of Cyril Alfred ITtting, who fell from a ladder while at work at the Chief Post Office yesterday and suffered concussion and lacerations to the nose, is improving. Robert Browning, English poet born in 1812, composed verses in his childhood before he learned to write, and completed his first book of poems in 1824.
